About FossMint

F.O.S.S Mint (Free Open Source Software) is a branched off project from TecMint, a Linux-focused website that was established in 2012.

The sole purpose of TecMint is to fill the craters in the Linux industry by providing guides, software reviews, shell scripts, monitoring tools, Linux commands, Linux tips & tricks, etc. and we have continued to deliver the best content (most of which are exclusive) all in one place.

In an effort to improve our reach on the internet, we have launched our long-planned F.O.S.S Mint (Free Open Source Software) section which we will use to constantly keep you updated on the most important things one should know about Linux, Android, and other Open Source projects.

What FossMint Covers

Our main content includes News, How-Tos, Tips & Tricks, and App reviews as well as Linux Distro reviews, customizations, etc. And since our recent expansion, we have new sections to include Mac, ChromeOS, Android, and Internet & Security content.

Reading our content will provide you with enough information to be more Linux literate than your peers. You will also be kept abreast of the latest and coolest Linux apps, distro updates, and solutions to common issues that bug the Linux ecosystem.

Currently, FossMint is maintained by the Founder of TecMint, Ravi Saive, co-founder Jesse Afolabi and Martins Divine Okoi, the Senior Editor.

Thus far, TecMint boasts over 120K email subscribers, 328K followers on Facebook, 39K on Google Plus and 20.5K on Twitter with over 4 million page views monthly. You will be an awesome addition to the family.
