  1. I’m looking for a simple project management app for personal projects – build the raised bed, build a kid’s toy house, paint the garage, etc. As the summer goes on, at least a few projects will be added and priorities changed.

    Any suggestions?

  2. Yes, ZenTao is definitely worth trying. Just like Redmine, ZenTao can be self-hosted, but also it offers more than just a bug tracking tool. It is an Application Lifecycle Management.

  4. Hi,

I have found another completely free project management tool: taskcloset

They have restricted the total file storage to 10 GB, 2 company & 50 projects per company; I have increased the limit by posting support ticket. It’s completely strange to me that they have not even asked for any up gradation price!

Though they don’t have Gnatt chart, milestones concept & even have not released IOS app. Still, I am using it for two reasons:
    1) No Price
    2) Some unique concepts like Issue & modification history tracker. etc.

You could go through the site and think about the inclusion.

  9. What a great list. However, Barvas is a great PM tool to consider. It has the added feature of mind mapping, so users can map out their project in detail then turn the ideas into actionable tasks and manage within the timeline.

  10. I’m not surprised Asana and Trello are in the list, even though I don’t think they’re the best project management tools. However, I think there should be one more app included: Kanban Tool ( https://kanbantool.com/ ). It’s good! It’s a lot less confusing than Trello and sends a lot less unnecessary notifications than Asana. It’s easy to use and very very helpful.
