We’re almost in the 6th month of 2019 and I imagine Mac gamers have had an awesome year so far. I’ve been doing some gaming of my own since the year began and I believe it is time for another game list.

1. Dota 2
Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena game where gamers play in one of 2 teams made up of 5 players. Both teams have a base called the “Ancient” and each gamer plays as a hero with unique playing styles and abilities alongside a designated Ancient area to protect.
Dota 2 features a beautifully designed world with engaging characters, sound effects, player vs player combat, and awesome rewards. Also, it is free to play with an unshaken 9/10 rating on Steam.
2. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a multiplayer first-person shooter and the fourth in the Counter-Strike series. In it, you’ll play in one of two teams – the terrorists or the counter-terrorists and your objectives will be based on your team. So, you’ll either be a bad guy who plants bombs and disturbs obstructs peace or a good guy who wants to eliminate the bad guys and help to save the day.

3. Rocket League
Rocket League is an engaging sports game in which you play soccer (with a giant ball) while driving in blazing fast futuristic racing cars complete with nitro boosts, custom gear, and fireworks. It features a multiplayer game mode, over 80 challenges, a variety of racing cars, online and offline competitive matches, etc.
Rocket League also has a 9/10 rating on Steam and it is going for a modest $19.99.
4. Euro Truck Simulator 2
Euro Truck Simulator 2 is a beautifully designed driving simulator game in which you are an elite truck driver tasked with collecting cargo from different locations and delivering it across Europe.
It features HD graphics, several licensed trucks with many customization options, various landmarks as well as countless locations with recreated visuals, and advanced driving physics.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 has an outstanding 10/10 rating on Steam where you can purchase it for only $19.99. And did I mention that you can build and promote your very own transportation company in the game? Awesome stuff.
5. Total War: WARHAMMER II
Total War: WARHAMMER II is a real-time tactic game set in a fantasy world of magic, lizardmen, elves, etc. In it, your main mission is to use your battalion to conquer all that there is to conquer as you explore new lands, stage battles with rival armies, and kill all those looking to bring an end to the world as you know it. It offers players an interesting and compelling storyline decorated with a beautifully crafted fantasy universe.
Total War: WARHAMMER II has several playing modes including the main campaign “Eye of the Vortex” mode as well as online playing modes. It boasts a 9/10 rating on Steam with a purchase cost of $59.99 and you probably want to bag it now before the price goes higher.
6. Football Manager 2019
Football Manager 2019 is a sports simulation game in which you are the team manager of a professional association football team with the ability to choose the fate of your career and those of the footballers that you manage. You can sign players, organize both home and away matches with full access to all 116 leagues across 51 countries.
Football Manager 2019 also features beautiful HD graphics, realistic match statistics, custom schedules, etc. and it has a 7/10 rating on Steam where it is selling for $49.99.
Rust is a multiplayer action-adventure game where you have one mission – survive. Initially created as a clone of DayZ, which was, itself, a mod of ARMA 2, Rust tasks you to protect yourself from other players by any means necessary including killing them for meat. Just like in Minecraft, you can craft your own weapons, cover as much ground as you can, and discover easter eggs. You could also create alliances with other players and even form a town!
A commenter added on Steam that Rust is among the cruelest games in the market and that is what makes it so compelling. It has an outstanding 9/10 rating on Steam where it sells for $34.99.
8. Shadow of the Tomb Runner
Shadow of the Tomb Runner is an action-adventure game with a story continuing from Rise of the Tomb Raider which was released in 2015. Continuing on her path to save the world by raiding tombs of ancient civilizations, avoiding booby traps, and piecing clues together all in a bid to prevent a Maya apocalypse.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider has a strong 7/10 rating on Steam and is available for $59.99 with a free trial period for you to test and see its awesomeness.
Stellaris is a 4-time sci-fi strategy game set in space in 2200 (almost 200 years in the future!) shortly after the invention of faster-than-light travel. In the game, you take on the role of a space crusader embarking on galactic conquest, technological domination, and resource collection as you interact with other civilizations. It features HD graphics with science-based ships, architectural wonders, military weapons for warfare, and the option to decide your own fate.

10. Insurgency: Sandstorm
Insurgency: Sandstorm is an immersive multiplayer tactical first-person shooter game where your mission is to complete mission objectives alongside your team members using heavy artillery, deadly ballistics, and attack vehicles. It features 4 online game modes and a cooperative mode where players work together to complete mission objectives as a team.
One feature I like in the game is the fact that fallen players can return to life for every completed objective so as long as the game isn’t over there is hope. Insurgency: Sandstorm has a solid 7/10 rating on Steam where it is available for $29.99.
