Luminance HDR, (formerly known as Qtpfsgui) is a graphic software application used to create and edit HDR (High Dynamic Range) images.
It is available for use under the terms set by the GPL and while it works excellently with HDR images, it also works well with Low Dynamic Range (LDR) files and file formats.
It received its latest update during the close of April to version 2.5.0 which brought it a handful of new features which include a new optional dark mode, a fast HDR export option, and brand new pair of tone mapping operators.

Install Luminance HDR by adding its PPA with the following Terminal commands:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dhor/myway $ sudo apt update && sudo apt install luminance-hdr
